Sorry I haven't updated in so long. We got the fight done, and Josh (French) has almost got the effects done. Also, I have downloaded demos of two pieces of software that will do lightsabers, and much more! They're called EffectsLab Pro, and VisionLab Studios. Both are available to download on www.FXhome.com. (That is the demos are available for download.) I am making good progress on a fight I filmed with my new camera/camcorder. Also, Josh wants to wants to start another blog for the movie. I'll try to give you the name of it when I get it done.......... I might try to call Josh later..........and maybe ask him about it.

Little Video

We should be filming the fight tomorrow. We're going to do it with lightsabers, and it should be pretty good.

Finally!

Great news! I got a camera/camcorder! It's great quality! So, that's over with! Whew!  There isn't really anything else I don't guess.

Sorry it's taken me so long to update. There's basically been no change. There are so many things to do. The script for the movie, the little video, and the audio set.But I'm sure we can get it done. With God all things are possible.

Well, I got the script done, and the fight planned for the little video! But Josh French said he didn't want to do any dialog, since it might be too hard on the actors. The only thing left to do is find some costumes, and schedule a time!

Video

I did a voice chat with Josh French last night, and he said he wanted to do the storyline I came up with! So...... I have to create the script, and plan the sword fight, and then we have to find a time to get together.........................................................................  So much work! But, it's got to be done. Oh boy!!! 

Finally!

It finally looks like we should be doing a little video very soon! I have come up with a storyline and I'm waiting to hear back from him, to see if he wants to do it or not. I could probably have the script, and the fight planned sometime next week.

I probably won't be able to do anything for a while. I've come down with the swine flu. Me and Joshua French should be able to do some short filming shortly after I get better.

Nothing has changed really. I have figured out that I'm going to use the movie script as the audio script. The audio set will be the movie with no picture.

Update

I finally heard back from Burns Family Studios, and we have some more ideas. The ideas are: We might order a big shipment of wedding bands, entwine them, spray paint them silver, and.... we would have chain mail! For actual armor we might use recycled youth hockey pads. For bows, painted PVC pipe! For arrows, wooden dowels with feathers! For the extras' swords we might stuff plastic swords with spray-foam insulation! And lastly.... we might use cardboard cereal boxes for spears and axes.

Tonight I'm going to try to talk to my partner (Joshua French), and try to decide when to film little video.

Change of Plans

Well, this is what we have decided to do: I am going to do some audio tracks, which I have the materials for, and when I get done with that, I'm going to sell it, and try to raise the necessary funds for the project.. As I said before, I'm going to get a $100.00 camcorder to film some small fights. Might not be able to do the fight Wednesday.

I might be able to film one of the little videos Wednesday..... but, my other actor (Joshua French) is sick at the moment.

Well...... we found some swords. Should be able to upload some little videoes in a couple weeks. The first one will probably be a gun video. 

Progress

Well...... basically no difference. Might have found swords to practice with though. Looking for swords to fight with. Might have found some.

Accomplishments

We started this project on Monday or Tuesday I believe. Since then I have written 3 1/2 pages of the script. about 1/2 a page of the overview, emailed Burns Family Studios (the producers of PenDragon: Sword of His Father) and asked them where I could get weaponry to use in a movie, and yesterday I got this blog established.

The Battle for Britain-Enemies from Rome

The main project right now is The Battle for Britain-Enemies from Rome. It is a story where the adults and toddlers are kidnapped, and taken as slaves. The children are then left to defend themselves...... It should hopefully be done before September 2018. Meanwhile, as we are getting a camera, we will start small, filming small fights to get experience. This will be our first film. I will try to upload the small fights so you are able to watch them.
